You can put this solution on YOUR website!

your current age = 56
half that current age = 56/2 = 28

your brother was 28 when you were 7

The gap from 7 to 56 is 56-7 = 49 years

Add 49 years to your brother's past age to get his current age
28+49 = 77

When you were 7, your brother was half your current age, which is 56. So when you were 7 your brother was 28. That makes your brother 28-7 = 21 years older than you, so his current age is 56+21 = 77.

ANSWER: 77
