Question 1202623: A curve is such that dy/dx = 2(3x + 4)^3/2 - 6x - 8
a) Find d^2y/dx^2
b) Verify that the curve has a stationary point when x =-1 and determine its nature.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
As the problem is posed, worded, printed and presented, is is either NONSENSE, or MISTAKE (or BOTH).
If a curve is such that dy/dx = 2(3x + 4)^(3/2) - 6x - 8, then x= -1 is NOT a stationary point,
as it is easy to check to anybody familiar with the conception a " stationary point ".
