Find 2 numbers whose product is 25 and whose sum is a maximum
----------
If limited to integers, it's 25 & 1.
If not, there's 250 & 0.1.
or 2500 & 0.01.
etc
-----------------
Not a well thought out problem.

The problem is posed INCORRECTLY.
To be a correct Math problem, it should be turned inside out: it should ask about the numbers whose sum is a MINIMUM.
Nothing unusual: half of incoming problems at this forum are turned inside out.
