Let's say today is Jan 1st 2023.
The day before yesterday (aka 2 days ago) was Dec 30th 2022.
You were 10 on Dec 30th 2022.
If your birthday is Dec 31st, then you turned 11 on Dec 31st 2022.
Therefore, today (Jan 1st 2023) you are currently 11 years old.
Fast forward one year from today.
You will be 12 years old on Jan 1st 2024.
Then moving from Jan 1st 2024 to Dec 31st 2024 will keep you in the same calendar year.
