Question 1200478: A function f is given, and the indicated transformations are applied to its graph (in the given order). Write the equation for the final transformed graph.

.

To shift 5 units left, we replace the argument x by (x+5),

and after that transformation the parent function f(x) = x%5E2 becomes
 g(x) = %28x%2B5%29%5E2.

To reflect in x-axis, we replace function g(x) by -g(x), changing the sign.

The final function after two transformations is

    h(x) = -%28x%2B6%29%5E2. ANSWER

Solved.
