Please help me solve this equation
Zack invested $5,500 in a mutual fund with an offer price of $20.40 and a net
asset value of $10.50. How many shares did Zack purchase? Round to thousandths.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The answer must be integer number, since the number of shares can not be non-integer decimal.
So, I do not understand the meaning of this instruction "round to thousandths".
Truly, it makes no sense.
It seems to me, that a person who composed this problem, did not get
even the level of rules of rounding yet in his mathematical development.
