Question 1197715: Two pencils are released on the market. A teacher asks a class of 25 students, to choose which pencil they prefer. The language used in asking the question is awkward. It seems to be saying that 1/4 of the 25 students prefer pencil #2, but 1/4 of 25 is not a whole number.
Either the problem is stated incorrectly, or else the problem is faulty.
