8%286%2B7%29 .........there is symbol between the 8 and the %286%2B7%29 and it is multiplication+

if you have the 8 in front of the parentheses, like %286%2B7%29+, means you should multiply %286%2B7%29+ by 8
so,
8%286%2B7%29=48%2B56=104
or, you can do it this way
8%286%2B7%29=8%2813%29=104

.

When you do not see a sign of arithmetic operation between two expressions, it means that this sign is omitted
and that the omitted sign is the multiplication sign.

It is the rule, traditionally accepted in Math from the earliest steps of learning.

It is not a fault of writing.

If you don't know this rule, it is only because nobody taught you this rule at the time when it should be done.

The responsibility on correct writing lies on the writer.

The responsibility on correct reading lies on the reader.

The responsibility on finding/checking errors lie on both.

It is multiplication, I don't know why it is that way just is. So, it actually is 8*(6+7) and that is 108, if my math is correct.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
8+(6+7) or 8/(6+7) but there is no symbol between the 8 and the,...
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Expression 8%286%2B7%29
The factor 8 stands by itself as a factor.
The factor 6+7, inside grouping symbols, stands by itself as a factor.

Expression then 8%286%2B7%29=8%2813%29=8%2A13=104.

Also that expression allows that multiplication distributes over addition.
8%286%2B7%29
8%2A6%2B8%2A7
48%2B56
104

When I see a question like this:8(6+7) I don't understand.
-----------------
1st, that's not a question.
---
8(6+7) = 8*(6+7) = 8*13 = 104
8(6+7) = 8*6 + 8*7 = 48 + 56 = 104
=====
It's not 108.

When two expressions are next to each other with no operator symbol between, the universal convention is that the operation is multiplication.

"xy" means x times y
8(6+7) means 8 times (6+7), which is 8 times 13, which is 104
