Found 2 solutions by josgarithmetic, ikleyn: Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The slope and a point are given, so this graphing you can do on your own.
YOU Do it!
Plot the point. x value 4. y value -5.
Slope given means, for vertical change negative 3, the horizontal change is positive 5.
YOU CAN DO THIS.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
Take graph paper, a pencil and a straightedge.
On the graph paper, draw x-axis and y-axis; then draw the point A = (4,-5).
After that, draw the second point B as described:
from A, go 1 unit horizontally to the left and 3 units vertically up.
Mark new point as B.
Now use the straightedge and the pencil and connect the points A and B by straight line.
At this point, you complete your job.
