Hi
The complement of an angle is 24 degrees greater than
twice the angle 'x'
Problem States:
(2x + 24°) + x = 90° |Complimentary Angles
3x = 66°
x = 22°
The complement 90°-22° = 68°

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The complement of an angle is 24 degrees greater than twice the angle. Write and solve an equation that represents this situation. Find the measure of the complement.
Welcome BACK, tutor @ewatrrr. I haven't seen you in a while. I guess you may'ne been vacationing!
Let complement be C
Then angle = 90 - C
We then get: C = 2(90 - C) + 24
C = 180 - 2C + 24
C + 2C = 180 + 24
3C = 204

**BTW....The other person's equation will NOT get you the complement's measure, so BEWARE!
