You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
When I read the post, I see a person in front of me, who wants to teach young students,
but does not know how to do it.
He/she wants to teach young students to solve the problem, but doesn't know how to solve it.
And, finally, this person wants me, the tutor, write on the paper all these words
in order for he could read it from the page as if he (or she) is a real teacher.
Therefore, he/she writes, statement by statement, what he/she wants to have in this page.
I, really, do not know what to do. I never was in such a position to teach a subject,
which I don't know.
I do not believe that it would be right, at all.
I only know that I can write on how I would solve the problem, but in such case, I do not need these step-by-step instructions.
The only advise I can give you - - - do not come with such requests.
Simply formulate the problem as is - and then I will write a solution to you in the best form you can get.
What you will do further with this my solution - it is just your concern, not my.
Do not try to insert your instructions in my mouth - it is bad way to get something/anything. Birds don't sing this way.
Your goal should be to get understanding - - - not the words written on the page.
All the rest does not matter.

Using p for how many pair of pants("shorts") and t for how many T-shirts,
