Bigger? As in older?
Is she 4 time older? Or 4 times as old?

Today, x, the sister
e, emily

Ten years ago,
x-10, the sister
e-10, emily

Ten years ago Emily's age was 4 times bigger than her sister's.
------------------------------------------------------------------

e-10=%28x-10%29%2B4%28x-10%29, literally.

e-10=5%28x-10%29

------------------------------------------------
If the age of her sister is 13 today,
------------------------------------------------

e-10=5%2813-10%29
e-10=15
e=25------------Emily's age today.

Five years from now, Emily will be 30.

In  English  Math literature as textbooks etc.,  they  NEVER  use the form  " four times older ",  since it is ambiguous in  English.

The only form  " five times as old as "  is acceptable,  instead,  when you write/compose a  Math problem for wide audience.
