You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
There is a circle with 1 m diameter and a dot is randomly put within it.
a) What is the probability that after 9 randomly put dots just 3 of them
would be located more than 0.75 from the centre?
b) What is the probability that after placing 217 random dots, just 3 of the dots
would be located no further than 0.1 away from the centre?

Regarding part (a) formulation, it is INCORRECT.
Indeed, the diameter of the circle is 1 meter; hence, the radius is 0.5 meter.
At the same time, the question asks about the probability for 3 random points
be located more than 0.75 m from the center.
By the way, the dimension unit is missed at 0.75, which is a fault, also.
