You can put this solution on YOUR website!

1132%2F12800%22%22=%22%220.0884375%22=%22%22%228.84375%25%22

9th percentile. That's a very low score.

Edwin has misread the problem, or has misinterpreted the value he calculated.

The 8.84% he got represents the idea that roughly 8.84% of the class scored higher than Rick.
This means Rick's score is larger than 100% - 8.84% = 91.16% of the class.

This places Rick at about the 91st percentile.

If we are given that "Rick scored lower than 1132 of the 12,800 students", then all that we can state is that his percentile is lower than

    100% - 8.84375% = 91.15625%.

ANSWER. All what we can derive from the given part is that Rick's score

         is lower than 91.15625%.
