You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

In this post,  I will answer first question,  ONLY.

By the way,  this question is posed  INCORRECTLY  in the post.
The correct formulation is  THIS :

    +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
What is the probability that highlight%28a_randommly_chosen%29 student
of the class is a male whose favorite flavor is chocolate or a female
student whose favorite flavor is cookies and cream?
    +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

My addition is in red color, and I will solve the problem with this highlight%28corrected%29 formulation
(without the correction, the question MAKES no SENSE).

                        SOLUTION

The solution assumes that YOU (not a tutor) make an appropriate Table, adequate to the given description.

Having this Table, the solution is very easy:

You then should select THREE numbers from the Table:

        (a) X = the number of males in the category "chocolate".

        (b) Y = the number of females in the category "cookies and cream".

        (c) T = total students in A class.

As soon as you correctly determine these numbers, the sough probability is the ratio

            P = %28X+%2B+Y%29%2FT.

You even can solve the problem without making a Table (I don't know what your teacher requires from you as a solution).

Simply extract the needed info (a), (b) and (c) from the given text as I described above, and proceed further as instructed.

Keep in mind that highlight%28I_am_not_going%29 highlight%28to_make_YOUR_JOB%29 highlight%28instead_of_you%29 : it is not my task or my duty or my intention.

My task is to instruct / (to explain) you what highlight%28highlight%28highlight%28YOU%29%29%29 should do.
