 A farmer has chickens and ducks in his farm. If he sells 2 chickens and 3 ducks a day,there would be 100 chickens left when all the ducks are sold. If he sells 3 chickens and 2 ducks a day, there would be 25 chickens left after all the ducks are sold.
 Find the number of ducks and chickens on the farm. Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Number of days to sell D ducks is (D/3). During that time, 2D/3 chickens will be sold. so C-(2D/3)=100, and for the other D/2 days to sell them
 so C-(3D/2)=25
 subtract and (5D/6)=75 and D=90, C=160
 160 chickens and 90 ducks
 in 30 days at 3 a day, the ducks are gone and there are 60 fewer chickens, 100.
 in 45 days at 2 a day, the ducks are gone and 135 fewer chickens, leaving 25.
