solve y=0.5x+2 and -y=-2x+4 by systems of substitution?

y = 0.5x+2
-y = -2x+4
-------------
Substitute 0.5x+2 in place of y:
-(0.5x+2) = -2x+4
-0.5x-2 = -2x+4
Add 2x to both sides to get:
1.5x = 6
x = 4
-----------
Substitute to solve for "y":
y = 0.5*4+2
y = 2+2
y = 4
