so, AB=CD+and AD=BC

BC=+%283y-8%29
CD=+%282x%2B8%29
AD=+%282y%2B4%29+

AB=CD
4x-6=2x%2B8
4x-2x=6%2B8
2x=14
x=7

B) how long is AD?
AD=+2y%2B4.......need y
AD=BC
2y%2B4=3y-8
8%2B4=3y-2y
