You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Probability of a sum of 7 is 6/36
at least one die shows a 5 is 1- probability neither will which is 1-(5/6)^2=11/36
probability that both occur will happen when the die is 5/2 or 2/5, and that has probability 2/36.
So the answer is the sum of the first two minus the third, which is double counted
this is (1/36)(6+11-2)=15/36 or reduced to 5/12.
