You can put this solution on YOUR website!

You have shown a formula for converting between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures. You can't "solve" a formula and get a numerical value for an "answer".

f=9/5c+32
solve the equations the answer is -40 I don't know how ?
------------
The equation is "solved" for F.
-40 degrees is the temp where the F and C degrees are equal.
----
Find the temp where Fahrenheit and Celsius are equal.
---
F = (9/5)C + 32
F = C
----
F = (9/5)F + 32
(-4/5)F = 32
F = 32/(-4/5) = 32*(-5/4) = -40 degrees
