Then Length=2W+4
Perimeter=2(length+width)=2(W+2W+4)=2(3W+4)=6W+8
Perimter=6W+8=500
6W+8=500
6W=500-8
6W=492
W=492/6=82
L=2W+4=(2x82)+4=164+4=168
Answer:
Length=168 Ft
Width=82 Ft
Verification:
Perimetet=2L+2W=(2x168)+(2x82)=336+164=500 Ft
