There are dozens of ways to set up this problem for solving. Here is what I would do.

Let x be Tres's age 20 years ago
Then the given information is that Raul's age 20 years ago was (x/2)+13

20 years ago -- as now -- Tres was 2 years younger than Raul:

x+=+%28%28x%2F2%29%2B13%29-2
x+=+x%2F2%2B11
x%2F2=11
x=22

ANSWERS:
Tres's age 20 years ago was 22, so he is now 42
Raul is 2 years older than Tres, so he is now 44
