...or, if your mental arithmetic is good, solve the problem even faster using logical reasoning:

The amounts are 50ml and 150ml, for a total of 200ml.
So 150/200 = 3/4 of the mixture is the 30% acid.
So the percentage of the mixture is 3/4 of the way from 40% to 30%.

Use mental arithmetic to reach the answer of 32.5%
