You can put this solution on YOUR website!
domain is x and independent variable, which is the one on the left.
it is [40, 94]

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this looks like a correlation type study that determines the relationship between the temperature and the amount of ice cream sales.

the online calculator at https://stats.blue/Stats_Suite/correlation_regression_calculator.html can provide you with the answer that you need.

the calculator tells you that the the regression line y = 8.1149x - 406.0414 with r = .8882 and r^2 = .7889.

the regression line is the straight line of best fit to the data.
the r tells you how strong the correlation is in a positive or negative diretion.
the r^2 tell you how much of the data can be explained by the relatioship.

here's a reference on r versus r^2.

your domain is the temperature.
your range is the dollars sales of ice cream when the temperature is as indicated.

to input the data, you have to remove the dollar signs as the calculator only takes numerator data.

here's a display of the calculator input and output.
