You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In one lottery, a player wins the jackpot by matching all five distinct numbers drawn in any order from the white balls (1 through 41 ) and matching the number on the gold ball (1 through 32). If one ticket is purchased, what is the probability of winning the jackpot?
----------------------
For the white balls:
1st choice is 1 of 41, then 1 of 40, etc
= 41*40*39*38*37
But there are 5*4*3*2*1 = 120 ways to pick the 1st 5
---> 41*40*39*38*37/120 = 749398
------------
Multiply that by 32 for the gold ball.
