You can put this solution on YOUR website!
water volumes increases 9% when it freezes
So, if the volume of water is x, the increase is 0.09x and thus, the volume of ice will be x+0.09x

applying,
x=400
0.09x=0.09*400=36
So, the volume will increase by 36cm%5E3
Now, x+0.09x=400+36=436

Thus, the volume of ice will be 436cm%5E3
