Question 1187807: One side of triangle has an equation of 2x - 5 next side has 3x + 20 and the last side has 2x. I need to solve for x
My answers: x = 3
I'm having trouble because I know the sums of the interior angles are supposed to be 180 and when I replaced x with 3 for all sides it wasn't 180. Or maybe I'm wrong and the answer is 3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
So those expressions are for its sides.

Maybe that is enough for you to continue and find the possible solutions for x.

The first two inequalities give invalid parts of a solution.
The last equation gives a meaningful inequality solution.

Makes no sense.
The sum of the angles is 180, not the sum of the sides.
