A certain triangle has two sides with lengths 14 cm. and 29 cm.
If X represents the length of the third side, X can have a value in the range
a< x < b. What is the value of a + b ?
Note:
I got as far as 29 + 14 = 43 :( Answer by ilana(307) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Look up the triangle inequality and use that to get a and b. It is a theorem that tells you the minimum and maximum length of the third side of a triangle.
