Researchers marked and released 36 pike in a pond. Later they counted 20 pike, 12 of which were marked. Estimate the pike population. See I got the answer 60 is that right or am I wrong?

12/20=36/x now cross multiply.
12x=20*36
12x=720
x=720/12
x=60 pike in the pond.
