Honestly,     I do not understand the meaning of this post.

First,     there is no any equation in it.

What we see as   y = x^2 -10x + 25,   is not an equation.

It is a   DEFINITION  of the  FUNCTION   y(x).

Second,  when I see such formula   y = x^2 - 10x + 25,   I know that the next move is to transform it this way

            y = %28x-5%29%5E2.

The rest in the post is   NONSENSE.

Notice that the Table in the @josgarithmetic solution is filled  INCORRECTLY.
This person is not able add,  subtract and multiply numbers correctly in the range from  1  to  10.

What you ask is for the most part just simple substitution and simple multiplication arithmetic facts. Factorization will make it a little easier.

y=x%5E2-10x%2B25=%28x-5%29%28x-5%29=%28x-5%29%5E2
 -------------------------
x|   25   3   5   8   4
 |
y|    0   4   1   9   1
 -------------------------
