Coterminal angles angles are angles, which when drawn in the "standard" position, share a terminal side. Picture the 4 quadrants. The "initial side" of the angle is the 0 degree point, which is the right side of the horizontal line defining the quadrants. All the way around, counter clockwise from that point, is 360 degrees. So in your case, start at the initial side and go counter clockwise 35 degrees. Draw a line from the origin out into the first quadrant from that point. That is the "terminal side" of your angle. So, the question is, which of the angles from the choices given also terminate on that line? You will see that -1045 is the only one that ends at the same place as 35 degrees.
