first off your only working with $30 not 40 if ur saving 10.
v=the total amount of 800ctvbuck packs
and 1 pack =$6
v=$30/$6
v=5 times that you can buy the pack
so you now have 5 packs of 800ct which is 4500 total vbucks
your equation is highlight%2840=6v%2B10%29
this means you have a total of $40 it will equal the number of packs (v) multiplied by its worth of $6 and keeping 10 dollars to put toward saving.
