"If there were 9 more brown dragons on the bulletin board..."
9 more than what?

This condition is unclear
"If there were 9 more brown dragons on the bulletin board".
To make it clear, the problem must say "9 more than something", and properly describe that "something".
Without it, the post MAKES no SENSE.
