then, if Devante is+9 years older than Kelly, he is x%2B9
in 12 years Kelly will be x%2B12years old, and Devante will be x%2B9%2B12=x%2B21
if in 12 years the sum of their ages will be 73, we have
x%2B12%2Bx%2B21=73
2x%2B33=73
2x=73-33
2x=40
x=20
=> Kelly is 20 years old now
