You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-4%282.5x%2B8.7%29=%281.4-9.2x%29%286%29
I assume you want to solve for x. the first step is to distribute the multipliers of the terms in the parenthesis:
-10x-34.8=8.4-55.2x
Next, get the 'x' terms on one side of the equation, and everything else on the other side:
-10x%2B55.2x=8.4%2B34.8
Now, combine the 'like' terms:
45.2x=43.2
Sove for x by dividing each side of the equation by 45.2:
highlight%28x=0.956%29
Good Luck,
