You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Informally....

Take away the 2 "extra" 5ch coins, leaving equal numbers of 5ch and 25ch coins with a total value of nu.3.30.

The value of a group consisting of one 5ch coin and one 25ch coin is 30ch.

The number of such groups needed to make nu.3.30=330ch is 330/30=11.

Bring back the 2 "extra" 5ch coins, giving 11 25ch coins and 13 5ch coins.

ANSWER: 13 5ch coins

Formally....

Let x be the number of 5ch coins -- which is what we are to find
Then x-2 is the number of 25ch coins

The total value of the coins is 340ch:

5%28x%29%2B25%28x-2%29=340

Solve using basic algebra to again find the number of 5ch coins is x=13.

In my collection of coins,I have 2 more 5 chetrum coins than 25 chetrum coins.
how many 5 chetrum coins are there if the collection is worth nu.3.40?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let x be the number of the 5-chetrum coins.
Then the number of the 25-chetrum coins is  (x-2), according to the condition.
The total money equation is then
    5x + 25*(x-2) = 340
From the equation,
    x = %28340+%2B+25%2A2%29%2F%2825%2B5%29 = 390%2F30 = 13.
ANSWER.  13 5-chetrum coins and 13-2 = 11 25-chetrum coins.
CHECK.  5*13 + 25*11 = 340 total money.   ! The solution/(the answer) is correct !
