Geometric mean of two positive real numbers x and y is the square root of their product

    +----------------------------------------------+
    | geometric mean of x, y is sqrt%28xy%29. |
    +----------------------------------------------+

In your case, it is sqrt%283%2A27%29 = sqrt%2881%29 = 9. ANSWER

Geometric mean between two numbers a and b+can be given assqrt%28ab%29.

Here+a=3+and b=27
Therefore, geometric mean = sqrt%283%2A27%29=sqrt%283%2A3%2A3%5E2%29=sqrt%283%5E2%2A3%5E2%29=3%2A3=9
