To answer the question, we must DIVIDE the cost of $11.60 by the number of balls 1340

the price of each individual ball is 1160%2F1340 = 58%2F67 = 0.865672 cents (rounded). ANSWER

It may look strange, but it is because the problem with its data is strange.

Again,  my answer is correct.    It can look strange,  but it is because the problem/question itself is strange  (out of the row . . . )

Do not experience suffer about this problem - it is not worth it . . .

Simply ignore it;   forget about it and move forward . . .

Long division
or
On your calc enter 1160 divided by 1340, ans .86567 cents which is about .9 cents or less that 1 cent per ball

Using long division or a calculator, 11.6%2F%221%2C340%22 = .0086567, or about .009.
This is .9 cents or less than .01, or less than 1 cent.
