Question 1183074: Using practical examples from the field of statistics,
determine the following variables you expect to have a
normal or nearly normal distribution. Illustrate by
discussing and explaining possible reasons for your answer.
a. Scores on a very easy test
b. Shoe sizes of a random sample of adult women
c. The number of apples in each of 100 full bushel baskets

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Scores on a very easy test are probably all at one end. That doesn't mean the distribution is necessarily skewed, if for example some scores were 8, many more were 9, and a few more were 10, that could be considered normal. Note: these data are not likely to be continuous, but that should not matter.
-
Shoe sizes may well be normally distributed among women, unless there is some reason to think height or other positive correlates to foot size are not normally distributed. These data are not continuous, but continuity is not a requirement for normality as it applies to testing for differences.

The number of apples are probably normally distributed to a reasonable approximation, since there would be no reason to think size would matter in their being put into the basket. Again, these are not strictly speaking continuous data but they could be treated as such.
