Let x be the number of spreadsheet apps,  the same as the number of database apps.


Then the number of the Word processing apps sold was  (2x + 35).



Now you write this "money equation" (revenue equation)

    160x + 185x + 270*(2x+35) = 80250   dollars.



Simplify and find x

    160x + 185x + 540x = 80250 - 270*35

           885x        =      70800

              x        = 70800/885 = 80.



ANSWER.  80 spreadsheet apps were sold.
