Julia 1 x + 1 y = 24


shreya 10 x + 2 y = 136 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by -2
Multiply (2) by 1
-2 x -2 y = -48
10 x 2 y = 136
Add the two equations
8 x = 88
/ 8
x = 11
plug value of x in (1)
1 x + 1 y = 24
11 + 1 y = 24
1 y = 13
y = 13
Ans x = 11
y = 13
