.
Write the complex number 3 + i sqrt 3 in its polar form: (r, theta).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The modulus is  sqrt%283%5E2+%2B+3%29 = 2%2Asqrt%283%29.
The argument is  arctan%28sqrt%283%29%2F3%29 = 30° = pi%2F6.
The polar form of this number is any of these two forms
    3 + i*sqrt(3) = 2sqrt%283%29%2Acis%2830%5Eo%29 = 2sqrt%283%29%2Acis%28pi%2F6%29
or
    3 + i*sqrt(3) = (2sqrt%283%29,30°) = (2sqrt%283%29,pi%2F6)
Solved.
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the complex number 3+%2B+i%2Asqrt%283+%29 in its polar form: (r, theta)
the complex number a+%2B+b%2Ai
in your case 3+%2B+i%2Asqrt%283+%29 , a=3 and b=sqrt%283+%29
then
r=sqrt%28a%5E2%2Bb%5E2%29
r=sqrt%283%5E2%2B%28sqrt%283+%29%29%5E2%29
r=sqrt%289%2B3+%29
r=sqrt%2812+%29
r=sqrt%284%2A3+%29
r=2sqrt%283+%29
theta=tan%5E-1%28a%2Fb%29
theta=tan%5E-1%283%2Fsqrt%283+%29%29
theta=pi%2F6
polar form:
(2sqrt%283%29 , +pi%2F6)
