You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The number of students in a classroom is 46.
let number of boys be x

there are 12 girls more than boys,
girls will be x+12
their sum =46
x+x+12=46
2x+12=46
2x+12-12= 46-12=34
divide by 2
x= 17
17 boys
29 girls
Total 46

2x = 34

.

    boys + (boys + 12) = 46

    2*boys = 46 - 12 = 34
