The number of outcomes is 6 and the probability of each outcome is  1%2F6.


    - You should write the set of all possible favorable outcomes in each case (a), (b), (c);

    - calculate the number of outcomes in each set; 

    - and then take the ratio  favorable%2Ftotal  as your answer in each case.


For example, for case (a), the set of favorable outcomes is THIS list  { 2, 4, 6 }.

So, there are 3 favorable of the total 6 outcomes.

Therefore, the probability is  P = 3%2F6 = 1%2F2 = 0.5 = 50%  in this case.
