You can put this solution on YOUR website!

pepper cheddar cheese costs $17 per kilogram ---- x kg
Pennsylvania Jack costs $8 per kilogram. -------- (6-x) kg
Total 6 kg------------11.75
17x+8(6-x) = 6*11.75
17x +48 -8x = 70.5
9x = 22.5
x=2.5 kg
pepper cheddar cheese = 2.5 kg
Pennsylvania Jack = 3.5 kg

                         PRICE          MASS        COST

Pepper Cheddar            17              w         17w

Pennsylvania Jack          8             6-w        8(6-w)

Combination the Two       11.75          6         11.75*6

Solve for w, and evaluate 6-w:
17w%2B8%286-w%29=11.75%2A6
