You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Divide 75 into two parts so that one part is 2/3 of the other.
let two parts be x and y
given:
x%2By=75...eq.1
and
x=%282%2F3%29y....eq.2, substitute in eq.1
%282%2F3%29y%2By=75...eq.1, solve for y
2y%2F3%2B3y%2F3=75
5y%2F3=75
5y=75%2A3
y=%2875%2A3%29%2F5
y=15%2A3
y=45
go to
x%2By=75...eq.1
x%2B45=75
x=75-45
x=30
so, one part is 30 and other part is 45

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If one part is x
the other part will be 2x/3
x+ 2x/3 =75
(3x+2x)/3=75
5x = 225
x = 75
You can find the other part
2/3 x
