You can put this solution on YOUR website!

what is the slope of the line that passes through the points (-2,+-3) and (4, -1)
given two points with coordinates
(x%5B1%5D,+y%5B1%5D)=(-2,+-3) and
(x%5B2%5D,+y%5B2%5D)=(4, -1)
use a formula for a slope:

m=%28y%5B2%5D-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29.........substitute given values

m=%28-1-%28-3%29%29%2F%284-%28-2%29%29

m=%28-1%2B3%29%2F%284%2B2%29

m=2%2F6....simplify
m=1%2F3
