(1) Use "^" to denote exponentiation in typed text: "x^2" instead of "x2".

(2) Use parentheses where needed.

"2/x^2+2" (as you show it) is this: 2%2Fx%5E2%2B2

"2/(x^2+2)" is 2%2F%28x%5E2%2B2%29

We don't know which you really mean.
