Question 1177851: Use the graphical method to maximize P and determine the maximum value.
P=6X1 + 11X2 subject to 3X1 + X2 ≤ 6 and X1 + 3X2 ≤ 9.
Work:
equation 1: (0,6) (2,0)
equation 2: (0,3) (9,0)
The constraint gave me: 66,12,33, and 54 and plugging in the values from the equation. I found this problem online and believe the maximum value should be 66, but the solution is not listed as such.
