You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a truck left a rest stop on the highway at 12 noon
going north at a rate of 50 miles per hour.
one hour later
a car left the same rest stop going south
at the rate of 60 miles per hour.

At 1.00 PM the truck has already gone 50 miles North.
Car and Truck are moving in opposite directions
effective speed = 110 mph
Actual distance = 375-50=275 miles
t=d/s
= 275 /110
2.5 hours
They will be 325 miles apart at 3.30 PM
